The California Preservation Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees drawn from preservation professionals across the state.
Paige is a Principal with PAST Consultants, LLC in Petaluma, where she specializes in drafting historic preservation ordinances and elements, Mills Act programs, and other planning documents, as well as conducting historic resource documentation projects. She previously worked as an attorney with the Brandt-Hawley Law Group, litigating cases involving the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and historic resources. Before that, she was a litigator and transactional attorney with Bingham McCutchen's Environmental and Land Use Group, in San Francisco. She held internships with a New York State Assemblyman and a judge, and with the U.S. Department of the Interior Solicitor's Office at the Presidio, San Francisco. Paige served as the California Preservation Foundation's program associate from 1995-1998. She has taught CEQA and preservation classes to the California Department of Parks and Recreation, at universities, and at many conferences and workshops. She has published numerous articles about historic preservation and legal issues. Paige holds a B.A. in Urban Studies from Vassar College, Phi Beta Kappa, an M.A. in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University, and her J.D. cum laude from Cornell University, with a concentration in Public Law.
