Planned Giving

All donors of planned gifts to the California Preservation Foundation are recognized and honored as members of the California Preservation Foundation Heritage Circle – an important group that is helping to secure CPF’s future.

Planned gifts include:

  • Creating a bequest to CPF in the donor's will.
  • Naming CPF as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan.

·

Such gifts help to sustain CPF’s advocacy and education projects to ensure that California's irreplaceable historic buildings and sites remain community assets for future generations. And, while the satisfaction of giving back to the community is the primary intent, the value of a planned gift to the donor may also include enhanced tax benefits. Your lawyer or accountant may also provide further information on the benefits of planned giving.

Members of California Preservation Foundation Heritage Circle are recognized in CPF's quarterly newsletter, "California Preservation," and in the organization’s annual report. Members also receive invitations to special lectures and events as further thanks for their generosity to CPF. Requests for anonymity are respected.
