Mission: What We Do
The California Preservation Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees drawn from preservation professionals across the state.
Board of Trustees
Leslie Masunaga, San Jose
Leslie Masunaga is the curator of the Berryessa Adobe (City of Santa Clara), responsible for the management and administration of the Berryessa Adobe, including exhibits, programs collection and operations. Prior to working for the City of Santa Clara, she was the Historic Resources and Records Manager for the City of San Jose (1998-2003), and the Archivist for the San Jose Historical Museum for the City of San Jose (1986-1998). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies, Asian American History, Art History from San Jose State University. She is active in numerous professional organizations and has served on a number of arts and cultural organizations including the California Council for the Promotion of History, the California Historical Records Advisory Board and the San Jose Japantown Community Congress.
